A look at Liquid Office's mobile app for Feng Office: Liquid Notes

By 21 November, 20143 Comments

Mobile project management requires a good understanding of what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and how one’s time can be organized in the best possible manner to achieve this. The “best possible manner” is a very personal statement that will fit each individual differently. For some, “best” refers to spending as much time as possible with family while for others, it means maximizing profits in the work space. As different as these views might sound, they both share the same goal: to use working time as efficiently as possible!

Mobile project management raises efficiency by using otherwise idle time productively; above all time during our daily commute, like waiting at the bus station, at the doctor’s office or even when an emergency rises and you are not in the office.

For people that are in constant idea process, there is nothing worse than having a bright idea but nowhere to write it down, structure it and put it into the right context. Nowadays, at least one mobile device is always at hand. With simple functionality, such as the ability to dictate, mobile devices turn into idea savers which save you a great deal of money and frustration.

Liquid Office, our developing partner from Austria, has created Liquid Notes, an application 100% compatible with Feng Office that accomplishes all of the above into one useful app.

Liquid Notes helps you manage your Feng Office notes on your mobile, and can be downloaded for both Android and iOS users.
Here are some of the features of Liquid Office:

  • The ability to create new notes wherever you are, without the hassle of having to wait for a computer.
  • Read, sort and filter your existing notes, in case you need information in an emergency situation where waiting to get to the office is simply not an option.
  • Classify new and existing notes to specific workspaces, to maintain organization within your Feng Office account.
  • Delete notes you no longer need right from your mobile device with just one simple finger swipe.

What’s in future for Liquid Office?

Liquid Office is planning to come up with additional apps in the Liquid Office Suite by the summer of 2015.

They are also working in parallel on a completely refreshed synchronization architecture, which will allow for off-line, as well as real-time synchronization. Real-time synchronization will answer the big question of document management, namely whose changes are to be taken over. Real-time synching also allows for even smoother work-flows in the future.
