Danish ~ Dansk
« on: December 27, 2008, 06:47:01 am »
Hi all. I am making a translation into Danish www.firedog.dk
But I am making the translation with more personally words, and to be used for sports club , meaning Company is Club, Company Clients are teams, contacts are players etc. If anybody wants some of that, just contact me.

Best Regards, Robert

Hi Robert.

We are definitely interested! No doubt more people is going to jump in and adjust your work to their needs. Could you post (or send me or Ignacio) the translation files, after you finish the work?

Though I do not recall which lang file is used for them, those texts get translated (only the icons are images).

Ok.. System crasch. When making lang file, suddenly I could not click company name, company client , users and groups.
So I thougt that perhabs the danish letters Æ Ø Å was the problem.. SO I change .htaccess to  "AddDefaultCharset iso-8859-1" Nothing happend. Then I change the config.php to ('DB_CHARSET', 'iso-8859-1) Then the system stop completly... I have no clue what went wrong. I have deleted all, and installed again. But now I am afraid to install lang file to danish again. How can I check where the error is located in this file?

You HAVE to use UTF-8 for translation files. You can access a tool for translations at <your opengoo>/public/tools/translate.php in your browser. You have to enable it first by editing file public/tools/access.php. This tool handles the encoding correctly.
